Network Interface Layer


Manages the real-time aspects of the M2M devices.


Device Authentication and Authorization


In order to minimize improper usage of a device, we have real-time device authentication, service authorization and ongoing usage monitoring.


The Network Interface Layer communicates with the 3GPP Core Network and LoRa Servers.


Connectivity Management


Some M2M services require high-end “service levels” with some capabilities for SIM self-diagnosis and troubleshooting.


In order to expose the real status of a device from the core network perspective (HLR/HSS, AAA, CCS, etc.) there is a need to query the different network elements.


SIM-Level Usage Monitoring


The Network Interface layer accumulates real-time usage information in order to continuously monitor the SIM behavior pattern. This functionality is realized using standard protocols such as Diameter Gy.


Provisioning module


The M2M Device Provisioning component handles business process instructions to change device information in network elements by executing provisioning commands towards Simfony 3GPP Core Network functions (HLR, AAA, CCS) or Simfony LoRa Network Server.


Business Support Layer


Responsible for the day-to-day operations carried out by MNO personnel or wholesale partners.


It provides a rich user interface and related processes to enable M2M partners to handle core M2M business processes, such as:

The Web Dashboard built-in capabilities offer key business data and services information, such as:


Real-time network information presence services


Real-time network presence services provide real-time information regarding the Network Attach Status and Data Session PDP status for each endpoint. Instant network view available for each SIM-enabled or LoRa-enabled device.


Current usage and billing information


Billing information is presented for each provisioned SIM card as well as aggregated information for the entire SIM fleet. Data alerting and capping are also available for data usage control.


Location based services


Location based service offering that allows customers to query and instantly find the geographic location of any of their wireless devices on the Simfony Mobile network. Service is 100% network based and no extra software is needed. Online viewing and analysis of usage data


Rich configuration options


Configuration options include enabling or disabling Data or SMS services, APN credentials authentication and authorization, device-based locking as well as global operational service areas definition.


Automatic Device Detection


Based on the unique International Mobile Equipment Identification number (IMEI) of the hardware module that the SIM is currently connected with, Simfony platform automatically detects the hardware model, manufacturer and radio bands that the module is operating on.


Simfony PaaS for Mobile Operators


If you are working with our partner Comfone, then many services can be implemented with a simple remote configuration. There is not even a need for one of our engineers to visit.


Through our partner Comfone we can implement a wide range of solutions such as Simfony PaaS for Mobile Operators through simple configuration.


This eliminates the need for commissioning visits and reduces the costs for all involved.
